Snooker Grand Prix 2008

The 2008 Snooker GP took place in the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre from 11th October to 19th October, 2008.

Winner John Higgins defeated Ryan Day by 2 frames, score resulting in 9 - 7. The champion, John Higgins took home £75,000, whilst runner-up Ryan Day walked away with £35,000 of the prize fund.


Defending champion Marco Fu was eliminated from the tournament in round 2 by his opponent Ronnie O'Sullivan with a comfortable win by 4 frames, score resulting in 5 - 1.

Highest break of the tournament was 139 scored by defending champion Marco Fu which bagged him £4,000 of the prize fund.
